MEET AT SUNDOWN

About Sundown

A creative gathering space in downtown Port Elgin where artists, makers and the creatively curious come together to create, connect and be inspired.

Founded by artists Jess Rosner and Margaux Bucher, Sundown was created from a simple idea: our community needed more opportunities to gather around creativity.

Through workshops, exhibitions, artist talks, pop-ups and community events, Sundown brings people together through experiences worth gathering for.

Margaux Bucher

Art has always been my love language—a way to connect and spark a sense of wonder in others. There’s nothing more fulfilling than seeing someone’s face light up when they experience a personalized piece I’ve created just for them. This passion led me to the Ontario College of Art & Design, where I immersed myself in illustration before falling in love with brush pen lettering and calligraphy.

Now, whether I’m live at an event as an engraver or creating in my studio, I craft custom artwork that transforms moments into cherished memories. Every creation is a shared experience, and I look forward to bringing that magic to you.

JEss Rosner

Creating bold, high-contrast portraits in a signature black and grey style, my work is influenced by pop art, music, and modern culture, with a lifelong fascination for Andy Warhol's approach to making art.

I paint instinctively, focusing on composition, contrast, and visual impact. Every piece is designed to make a statement—not blend into the background.

When I'm not in the studio, you'll find me at a live concert, treasure hunting for vintage southwestern silver jewelry, or chasing my next creative idea.
