We'll guide you through each step, making it approachable for first-time painters while still leaving plenty of room to make your artwork your own.
Introduction to Life Drawing

Step into one of the oldest artistic traditions and discover the fundamentals of drawing from a live model in a welcoming, supportive environment.
Whether you've never picked up a piece of charcoal or you're looking to strengthen your observational drawing skills, this workshop is designed for artists of all experience levels. Guided by local artist Niki Sutherland, you'll learn how to observe form, capture movement, and translate what you see onto the page with confidence.

WATERCOLOUR FOR BEGINNERS

Catherine Natalie of Sunset Studio will be hosting her popular intro to Watercolour at SUNDOWN ART STUDIO. Learn 16 essential techniques, then experiment with colour theory to create an abstract piece.
Participants will also be guided step-by-step through a small landscape painting. This class is designed to take the fear out of watercolour and make it fun and approachable for new artists.
